Day 268

Weiser to Winchester Lake State Park, ID. Had a great couple of days in Weiser. Met some really cool people and got to know Lee’s cousin Cindy and her husband Jake. Cindy found us an RV spot in the backyard of the local bar. How cool is that? Didn’t have to worry about having too much fun. Dinky Dawg even went in for a visit after he escaped from the yard. Thanks Jake for hearding him into the bar so he didn’t get out on the highway
Went to 3 thrift stores and spent 6 bucks for 4 blouses, a skirt. Even got rid of a bunch of donations.
Dinky Dawg and I went for a walk and saw a real live Eclipseman Wolverine. Heard about them, but have never seen one before.
Brenda got stung by 2 different bees/wasps, but luckily she didn’t have an allergy attack. Thanks, Cindy for telling us about the tobacco. Took the sting right out.
Saw a sign for a State Park just 2 miles off the highway. Decided to stop for the night. It is beautiful. Pine trees everywhere , a pull thru spot and the bathroom is only about 50 feet away. Sweet. It has a picnic table and a firepit/bar-b-que. For only $25, with water and electricity. Can’t even see the neighbors because of the vegetation.
Brought Miss Bristol outside and she is having a blast in the dirt and pine needles. She is tolerating the leash.
It’s really cool outside, just 79 degrees, so we aren’t even going to hook up the satellite. Just enjoying the peace and quiet and the fact that the bugs didn’t follow us.
